The Captain General, Godsbrain Smart has revealed more details on the salaries to the first and second ladies in Ghana. The issues which was reported to sent to parliament for consideration to be made official has been much talked about the people across the country. But the various sources are almost all pointing out that, this is not the first time some allowances are being paid to the first and second lady of the country, because it started in the time of Rawlings.
Captain Smart, on Onua TV this morning Friday 9th July 2021, has revealed that the said payment was one of reasons why Kwasi Botwe resigned from his position, because he said it was unconstitutional. Captain has alleged that Rawlings took that decision because he believed that Nana Konadu Agyemang Rawlings was using the 31st movement to help the country. Nana Addo's second issue he talked about when he met Kwesi Pratt was about the monies being advanced to the office of the first and second ladies. "I know a lot of things that sometimes I cannot say it on TV and radio", Captain chipped in.
Meanwhile when Kuffour was elected he had forgotten that Nana Addo had talked about it in the "Ku me preko" demonstration, and also continued till today. "So don't you feel guilty trying to justify this action?", Captain asked Kojo Oppong Nkrumah.
Nana Addo told all Ghanaians that the economy is suffering so he can not increase public workers' salaries by the proposed 15%, has the capacity to increase the salaries of first and second ladies, and to further backdate it, even for all former first and second ladies? Hmm! Political leaders in Ghana are only greedy and selfish.
