United States America based Ghanaian investigative journalist, Kevin Ekow Baidoo Taylor has descended heavily on Ghanaians for spending much time on unnecessary things rather than letting their voice heard on troubling national issues including the intermittent power outages and the recent insecurity faced by the nation.
Speaking on his with all due respect show, the loudmouth investigative journalist said, Dumsor is killing Ghanaian businesses and is the cause of the recent fire outbreaks in the country but Ghanaians are channelling their strengths in fighting unnecessary things.
"Dumsor is killing businesses, causing fire outbreaks and the security situation in the country is increasingly becoming worse. Day in and out robbers are killing the citizens and murder cases are on the rise in the country. The economy is in shambles and everything seems to be stagnant in the country. We are only concentrating on the issues which adds nothing to the country's development. We are more concerned about unnecessary things".
Kevin Taylor cited the case of Akuapem Poloo as one that does not deserve the attention of the media. He further said, the media who is supposed to hold government accountable are rather singing the praises of the failed Akuffo-Addo led government which has plunged us into dumsor.
