In other to ease transportation tensions in countries like these, governments invest more in construction of railways more than roads in the sense that, the trains can carry more than cars. Also, heavy goods and services are transported to far places by the use of trains.
But according to the pictures in these articles, it looks like the people of India are abusing the train transportation system in India.
India and China are the world's two countries with the highest population. As of now the population of India alone is hovering around 1,380,004,385 people.
This means, India is 46 times bigger than Ghana in terms of the number of people living in the country. In countries where population is high, transportation system are very difficult. Even in Accra with less than 3 million people, many people have to wake up at dawn in order to catch up public transport to get to work early.
In India, railway transportation is a vital mode of transport for both people and goods. Indian Railways (IR) is the country's primary rail operator and a state-owned subsidiary of the Ministry of Railways, which previously had its own government budget.
Between 2019 and 2020, the Indian Railways network served 22.15 million passengers a day. During the same time span, the IR network exported 3.32 million metric tons of freight every day.
