The member of parliament for Mfantseman constituency, Hon. Ophelia Hayford Quansah has caught social media admirations for selflessly donating her blood freely to a government hospital after they run short of blood.
Hon Ophelia Hayford Quansah has led so many times by example including leading a team of national service personnel for a clean up exercises, joining community members for communal labour and others.
Today, the Saltpond Government Hospital called on the member of parliament to organise some faithfully community members to donate blood for the hospital.
Without hesitation, the member of parliament led the group of participants to the hospital and donated the blood herself. This is a gesture that have received so much admirations and applauds from her followers on social media.
"Donation of blood to help stock the blood Bank of Saltpond Government Hospital. Many thanks to the organisers of this very important and life saving exercise." Hon Hayford Quansah wrote on her Facebook page
