In an interview that was made earlier on Wontumi Television station/radio around 5:30 yesterday hosted by Oheneba Nana Asiedu, the MP Hon. Joseph Owusu MP for Sekyere Afram Plains who is popularly known in his field of work as Hon. Odenkyem, was asked about the issues concerning the brawls between the political parties and his absence during the time the misunderstanding occured. This was what he had to say.
" I was not in parliament at the time the brawl happened in parliament, Hon. Muntaka should count himself lucky. He is not a zongo boy more than me, I have lived in zongo for many years more than even he claims he has and looking at what he did, he should count himself very lucky that I was not present at the time the incident of him slapping Carlos Ahenkrah happened, He would have lived to regret his actions after what he did to Hon. Carlos Ahenkrah. How can a muslim leave his religious cap on the ground to go and indulge himself into a fight. I would have shown him who the real zongo boy is", He said.
This looks like Hon. Odonkyem was on heat from the way he was reacting on tv after he also stated, that, the NDC should learn from the leaders of the NPP, how they comported themselves in parliament when the misbehaviour of some of these NDC MPs were shown all over the radio and tv.
He also added that, they should be ashamed of themselves for making the newly elected members of parliament in the NDC see such a disrespectful and disgraceful behaviour they showed in parliament.
