The minority Leader, Honorary Haruna Iddrisu has hit hard on the Majority members of Parliament.
According to Haruna Iddrisu, the majority in Parliament today were only 137 which is also not more than half of what the constitution expected. They therefore also have no right to approve the 2022 budget.
"They claim that they respect the constitution, then they must respect the fact that today's decision is a constitutional nullity because the deputy speaker has no original or casting vote. Nothing more and therefore they were at best 137". He said.
The minority also made it clear to the majority that, what the majority just did in Parliament was in vain and also unconstitutional.
