"We think EC should re-count the Banda constituency's Parliamentary results"-NPP to NDC.

The Bono Region's New Patriotic Party (NPP), has raised alarms concerning the Banda Constituency's Parliamentary results which went in favour of the National Democratic Congress's (NDC's) Parliamentary Candidate, Mr Ahmed Ibrahim whiles he didn't deserve it.

The New Patriotic Party (NPP), has made it publicly known that it is going to petition the Electoral Commission, for a review of the results that went in favour of the National Democratic Congress's candidate since it has noticed that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) candidate rather won the polls.

Addressing the press Sunyani Friday morning [December 11, 2020), the Regional Chairman of the NPP in the Bono Region, Mr Kwame Baffoe alias Abronye made emphasise that the results announced by the Electoral Commission (EC) at the constituency did not reflect as on the one on the pink sheet and it went the other way of the will and right of the people of the Banda constituency and modified the declaration as a "fraudulent, flawed, deceitful and not only a sham but a dubious scam".

He sdded that, the Electoral Commission's (EC) declaration that the New Patriotic Party's (NPP's) candidate, Mr. Joe Danquah gained 8,195 votes, while the National Democratic Congress's (NDC’s) Mr. Ahmed Ibrahim had 8,276 votes out of the total valid votes cast.
