Host of Good Evening Ghana, Paul Adom Otchere, who doubles as the Board Chairman for Ghana Airport company ltd has dropped some revelations about Akufo Addo's campaign message in 2020 and John Mahama's campaign message in 2020.
Speaking on Good Evening Ghana show, Paul Adom Otchere stated clearly that former President Mahama didn't have a better plan for Ghana's economy during the 2020 campaign season. He added that President Akufo Addo managed the economy very well during his first four years in office and due that the NDC failed to capture that in their campaign message.
He added that the NDC is now blaming President Akufo Addo for managing the economy badly but that was not their main target in 2020 when they were in opposition.
"Go back and check, the economy was not part of NDC's forward campaign in 2020. It was not. So if the economy had been badly managed by 2020, that would have been the opposition's main take into the election. When we checked, the opposition's main take into the election 2020 was not the economy"
"So when they say this economy has badly been managed, we had an election two years ago and that was the opportunity for the NDC to come back to power. It was not part of their election campaign. You can check."
"On economy, President Akuffo Addo talked about better management of Ghana's economy as the records show that from 2017 to 2019, he was very strong about that. GDP growth inherited was about 3.4% and comes to 8%" he said.
