The pressure group, OccupyGhana have expressed their worry over the ability of the National Security to ensure proper investigation into the assault of the two journalist from Citi FM/TV. The group however, believe government should have an independent commission to investigate the incident act due to the circumstances surrounding the assault.
Caleb Kudah, who is also the host for BackPage, show on Citi FM/TV is the victim of brutality by the National Security after was assaulted and detained by the National Security for filming some grounded MASLOC vehicles parked at the premises.
Therefore, in a statement by the pressure group, OccupyGhana condemning the indecent act also asked some questions from the National Security which demands an answer to, in order to ensure justification for the assault of the two journalists.
“We have no faith that the National Security Ministry can provide a satisfactory investigation into the damning allegations and therefore would like to advise the Government to set up an independent body of inquiry into the matter,” OccupyGhana said.
