The newly sworn in speaker of the 8th parliament of the 4th republic in his acceptance speech after the swearing - in has diligently promised to dispense his duties to the people of Ghana and the August house of parliament diligently considering all matter as equally relevant and important. That promise of diligently discharging his duties started today the 7th January, 2021 when the 8th parliament was duly inaugurated. With his long serving experience as the member of parliament for the constituents of Nadowli and Kaleo of the Upper West Region in all the constituted parliaments of the 4th republic gives him the mark of completely understanding that nature, operations and the relevance of the August house to the development of Ghana to which extent he makes this fulfilling promise to the people of Ghana in the discharge of his duties.
He again, stated that he will not be conforming only to his party but will be a speaker for all in helping to shape the democracy of our beautiful country- Ghana. This is the promise of life on his service for his tenure as the speaker of parliament.
