I prefer seeing things for myself on the ground than reading reports – Akufo-Addo

The President of the Republic of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has conceded that however advanced age finding him, he actually favors visiting the country to see things for himself than depending on his representatives to take care of him with data on government strategies.

As indicated by the President, data got by means of different reports couldn't measure up to what he sees himself when he goes on visit.

Talking in a location to Chiefs and individuals of Yepei - Kusawgu in his functioning visit to the Upper West and Savanna Regions, the President said "Consistently, it is my training to visit every one of the 16 locales of our nation so I can see with my own eyes the presentation of government's ventures and drives of the different areas which I visit".

"I generally say that getting reports and seeing things with your own eyes isn't something similar so I like to emerge to see with my own eyes how things are going", the President added.

President Nana Akufo-Addo further uncovered that, by going through the length and broadness of the country, he gets the amazing chance to associate with Ghanaians and stand by listening to their concerns which thusly illuminate his choice in overseeing the country.

"Thus doing, I get the chance to pay attention to the bosses and individuals of the area so I can change taxpayer supported initiatives' and drive to deal with these worries", he noted.
