The member of Parliament for Tamale North, Alhassan Suhuyini says sometimes he wishes the media show the NDC same level of confidence and trust as they always seem to show the NPP.
In his view, the always give the New Patriotic Party the benefit of the doubt as against the National Democratic.
The Honorable member of Parliament was on the “Breakfast Review” show on GHONE Tv as a panelist dissect issues on the cost of living, transport, food prices hikes and the inflation currently around 27.6%.
He reiterated among other things that some actions of government has resulted in the current hardships Ghanaians face but was swiftly interjected by the host, Lantam Papanko who then indicated that the government has put in measures by reducing salaries of some appointees and cutting down on government expenditures to about 30%.
“ To be very honest with you, having worked in the media all these years and now into politics, I sometimes wish the party I belong to (the NDC), will get the same level of trust and confidence when they say things, that, the NPP gets. There is no need to verify what the NPP says but when the NDC says we will build 100 schools, the media will go out there and count the schools to be sure they are doing that”, Alhassan Suhuyini responded.

He debunked claims that the government has actually reduced salaries of Ministers or cut down on government expenditures. He urged the media to try as much as possible to follow up on promises made by this government.
Is Alhassan Suhuyini suggesting media bias against the NDC?
Let's have a conversation in the comments sections.
