Government Must Ensure That Budget Transform The Lives Of The Poor
He said budget must rather help to transform the lives of ordinary citizens that can't even afford to eat even once a day.
Bishop urge government to rather bring inn politics that will create opportunities for the poor and not one will send them to their early graves.
Speaking in an interview with the some selected media at his office in Accra, he caution government over imposing more taxes on us to bring economic hardships on Ghanaians than creating avenues that will reflect on their pockets and, "God will turn his eyes on Ghana and do greater things for the country”.
The bishop also prayed for the economy, security and prosperity of the nation.
He called for national prayer at the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, the President should again call for a national day of prayer for himself and the country.
He said just as how God listened to the prayers and spared the country from the claws of the pandemic, all men of God must join in the national prayers for the President and the nation and “it shall surely be well with the country”.
He explained that since peace was a critical prerequisite for any accelerated development, Ghanaians, especially people from different political affiliations should always place the peace and unity.
