The brouhaha after the death of Flt. Lt. Jerry John Rawlings is becoming overwhelmingly unbearable. At first, there was a misunderstanding between the NPP government and the NDC party as to who should be allowed to hold the funeral if the deceased former president. The NDC claims Rawlings was their founder, so they should be allowed to organize the funeral rites the NDC way, while the government also asserts that Rawlings was a States man when he was alive, so he deserves a state burial.
But there has been a spiritual twist to this whole issue as revealed by the leader and founder of Shining Grace Chapel international, Prophet Isaac Appiah, popularly known as Ogya Nyame. In a one on one interview yesterday with RTV, the powerful man of God who once prophesied about the death of a popular figure before the end of this year, has given out a strong warning to the sitting president and the NPP as a whole.
Prophet Ogya Nyame confirmed should Rawlings be buried before December 7th, the elections will be a tough one for the NPP, because the moment the late founder of the NDC is buried it will ignite the party spiritually and it will put then at par with the NPP spiritually.
"As it stands the NPP is ahead if the NDC, but the NDC is doing everything spiritually to catch up with the NPP. The president should see to it that Rawlings is not buried before December 7th if he wants to maintain his lead spiritually", he warned.
Do you think elections in Ghana has spiritual connotations or elections are won only by good policies?
