Road project in Bosomtwe District abandoned as it turns dusty after the election

Life in the Bosomtwe District is becoming increasingly unbearable for its residents and people who work on the road. The road has suddenly turn dusty immediately after the elections.

The problem of drenching the road was a huge concern before the elections but has now gotten worse as people find it difficult to breath.

The project started about three years ago and it is surprising to see the progress of the project in shambles.

Kofi Job is a Ghanaian contractor who has been awarded this contract. He barely drenches (wet with water) the road even where there are residents and workers.

It is shocking to know that this very district has prominent men in Ghana and in the NPP. Chairman Wontumi, the Regional Chairman of the NPP, Honorable Simon Osei Mensah, the Regional Minister, and Honorable Yaw Adutwum, the Education Minister all hail from this place.

With all this, a blind eye has been turned to such a project.
