Why Are You Laughing? - Kwame A-Plus Boldly Questions Prez. Akuffo-Addo And Causes Stir Online

The path to freedom in a country is indeed by democracy. Democracy is one of the most values things in Ghana and has helped emblazoned Ghana's name at the global stage. The constitution ensures that every Ghanaian can freely express himself or herself without fear or threat to his or her life.

Outspoken Ghanaian and self acclaimed anti-corruption campaigner and youth activist, Kwame Asare popularly known as Kwame A-Plus in showbiz has caused massive stir online with his latest question to President Akuffo-Addo. Kwame A-Plus reacting to a photo shared by President Akuffo-Addo in an interview seemed to have been surprised by the President's laughter.

Recall, the President, Nana Addo Danquah Akuffo-Addo, addressing the Cheifs of the Oti Region on his working visit said that he and his cohorts have chosen the path of truth. The President, in his speech was convinced that Ghana can only reach the promise land if we imbibe truthfulness and do away with propaganda.

The President further asserted that governance covered in lies and deceit kills the spirit of nations, a path which Ghana is not planning to follow. It seems his comment did not go down well with Kwame A-Plus who has left a big question to the President and his team to answer.

Kwame A-Plus has been an avid critic of the Akuffo-Addo government since its assumed office in 2017. It is therefore not surprising to see the anti-corruption crusader questioning the President's message. He indicated that the President acts contrary to his words as seen "in his shameless fight against corruption and debt management."

In a post sighted on his official Facebook page, he posted "Why is he laughing?" This comment from A Plus invited public reactions and criticisms. Ghanaians have been divided over the singular comment as a section sought to defend the President while others lambasted him. Read some reactions from other Ghanaians below;
