Yaa Titi has taken a swipe at the central regional minister for her decision to beg the assembly members to accept the proposed mayor of the Cape Coast, after he was rejected through voting. Justina Marigold Assan went as far as down to her knees to plead with all the assembly members to rescind their rejection decision of the president's proposed Chief Executive Officer for the Cape Coast Metropolitan Assembly, Mr Ernest Arthur. This has not gone down well with the presenter.
In a response from Yaa Titi during newspaper review on Onua TV and FM's Maakye this morning, Friday 8th October 2021, Yaa "blasted" her for going that far. "Why won't you allow them to choose who they believe is the right person to head the Assembly. Why will you kneel down to beg them to accept who they don't like? Stop that useless begging and kneeling down, and allow them to choose a proper candidate for themselves", Yaa Titi concluded.
