
Over 150 people living in Abeadze and its enclave were rendered homeless after a strong wind destroyed buildings and other properties in the Central Region.
However the Member of Parliament for Mfantseman Constituency, Hon. Ophelia Mensah upon realizing that her constituents were in great crisis offered them with some support by donating items to the affected victims.
The items presented by the former police officer and spouse of late Ekow Quansah included 200 roofing sheets, 200 bags of rice, 200 pieces of clothes among others.

The rendered Abeadze victims whom benefit the donation expressed their profound gratitude to the Member of Parliament for Mfantseman Constituency, Hon Ophelia Mensah for the support she made to them during their crisis.
Furthermore Hon. Ophelia Mensah who replaced her late husband Hon. Ekow Quansah therefore advised entire Abeadze community to report any incidents to her so that she can continue to support Mfantseman constituents as Member of Parliament.
