Guinea's President, Alpha Condé has been held hostage by soldiers. This is because the people and organizers of the coup see democratic government as more corrupt which needs reforms.
The leader of the coup d'etat has assured that, the president is with them and that he is very safe.
According to the leader of the coup d'etat in an interview with FRANCE 24 this morning, he revealed that, indeed the president is with them and they have no intention of harming him, he then assured that, he is being guided by military men.
"We are here to allow Guineans to live together and for all of us to enjoy the benefits of this country. That's our objective, we are not here to play games. We are here to learn from the mistakes that has been made by our leaders. The whole army is here to help build this country. The president is with us, he is in a safe place and seeing a doctor, there is no problem, we have all the security forces behind us." The leader told FRANCE 24.
Let's all pray for Guinea, I don't think coup will ever happen in Ghana because Nana Addo is developing the country very well. Africans leaders must learn from how Nana Addo is ruling Ghana to avoid coup d'etat. What do you also think, leave your opinions and comments below, like and share.
