Parliament approves 2022 budget without minority

Reports reaching the public indicating the Majority has approved the 2022 budget presented by the Finance Minister. This comes after the Second Deputy Speaker, Joseph Osei Owusu sitting in for Alban Bagbin precide over the house.

On Friday, November 26, 2021, the Minority also rejects the Budget when the minority walked out of the chamber leaving only the minority to Vote. The Speaker Alban Bagbin precided over the house where the minority collectively rejects the budget.

Today the minority also walked out of the parliament leaving the majority to vote, where they voted in favour of the Budget.

The Speaker is currently in Dubai with his family. Many Ghanaian are anticipating His coming to see how he will also interprete his part ,since Lawyers in the Country are bringing out their divers interpretations.

The E-levy is the main Pivot where all these controversies are geared towards either to accept or reject it.
