Not long ago Sam George caused massive stir on social media by declaring his stand on homosexuality.
The member of parliament for Ningo-Prapram constituency boldly declared that the Australian High Commissioner should stop supporting the LGBT community in Ghana and start respecting our laws on that particular topic.
This bold statement by the honourable member of parliament has made it clear that these prominent men do not see eye to eye on the homosexuality subject.
The most shocking thing is that this friendly beef between these renowned personalities have escalated to the point that the member of parliament is saying that he will 'beat' up the commissioner if he keeps on pushing for legalization of homosexuality in Ghana.
This statement by Sam George has made one of the most respected investigative journalist in Ghana, Manasseh Azure Awuni to boldly proclaim that the member of parliament should render an apology to the Australian High Commissioner.
He added that "If the laws of Ghana do not allow homosexuality, those same less don't allow an MP to beat up a diplomat. Sam George, this is terrible and it's a disgrace to the people you represent. Apologies to them and the Australian High Commissioner".
