With just three days left for the people of Ghana to elect a party member as president of the Republic of Ghana. It should be a must for every Ghana to come out and vote for their party member to win, it being National Democratic Congress (NDC), New Patriotic Party (NPP) or other political parties.
The United Progressive Party's (UPP) leader and founder, Akwasi Addae Odike has given Ghanaians a strong warning that, If president Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo wins the December 7 election, he will abandon Ashanti region, so the people of the Ashanti region should not bother casting out their votes for him.
He proceeded on to say that, president Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo is in Ashanti region now because he wants votes from the people of the region and nothing else.
He said, after Nana Akufo-Addo wins the presidential seat for the second time again, he will never visit Ashanti region. Ashanti region will not gain any benefits from Nana Akufo-Addo. No developmental projects would be conducted in the region. The region will have no progress.
He made this statement on a morning show programme on Abusua Fm which was hosted by Kwdwo Marfo.
He also added that, it would be so pathetic for the people of the Ashanti region to cast out their votes for the flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and leaving the hopes of the people in vain.
