Yesterday saw another victory for the New Patriotic Party in the Ashanti region chair election. After the result was declared the incumbent Bernard Antwi Boasiako who is known as Chairman Wontumi was confirmed the winner.
Before the election, he made a bold claim that National Democratic Congress (NDC) will not get easy in the Ashanti for the coming 2024 election. In the 2020 election, they were able to sweep some massive votes but it will not happen again.
The message didn't land well for NDC executive member Appiah Stadium. He visited Wontumi today and made a bold statement to him that NDC will win the 2024 election. No matter what Wontumi will do still NDC will get more massive votes in the Ashanti region than what happened in the 2020 election.
He added, that if John Dramani Mahama couldn't win the 2024 election they should behead him. His message has received massive reactions on Facebook and I want us to discuss it here.
