Johnson Asiedu Nketia Declares His Interest In The Seat Of NDC Chairmanship

Johnson Asiedu Nketia, who is the general secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has spoken publicly about how he wishes to either contest for the NDC Chairmanship or end his political dreams.

General secretary Johnson Asiedu Nketia revealed this on Radio Gold this afternoon. Acccording to him, he is no longer going to contest for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) general secretary position ever again. He is tired of being a general secretary, he wants a position that is bigger than that. It is my desire to go in for the Chairmanship position this year or i will retire from politics.

It has not been an easy work for me as a general secretary, but I have achieved this position for more than 16 years but less than 18 years now. I am bigger than that in this state of my life.

If a child was born the first time that I did achieve this General Secretary position, he would have been a graduate by now. Enough is enough, I am out of the position of the NDC General Secretaryship, John Asiedu Nketia explained.

" This is breaking news. I will not contest for the position of a general secretary again. Enough is enough. The options are now two. It is either I will go in for Chairmanship or even retire from politics. A child who was born when i first became the general secretary will be a graduate by now. This is the work I have done most in my life". Asiedu Nketia said.

What is your take on the fact that Johnson Asiedu Nketia want to become the national Chairman for NDC?
