During a feisty discussion on Joy News, the vociferous honourable member of parliament who once represented the good people of Ejisu-Juaben constituency, Hon. Akwasi Osei-Adjei, boldly declared his decision on a controversial issue. His bold decision may come as a shock to most Ghanaians. His bold declaration is in accordance to the passing of the E-levy bill.
According to him, he is in support of the E-levy and it is the best. As maintained by him, a lot of people are not paying taxes in this country and as such, he is always in favor of indirect taxes because it is going to affect everybody.
He also revealed another message. According to him, the implementation of the E-levy is simple to calculate and easy to collect.
