Following the ongoing election petition proceeding, yesterday marks as court day 9 on the case. The petition filed to Supreme Court by the flag bearer of National Democratic Congress(NDC) tagging last year election as " flawed election" is getting interesting everyday.
It was an eye saw, what transpired at the Apex court yesterday between the Lawyer for the petitioner Tsatsu Tsikata, the lawyer for the second respondent Akoto Ampaw and the chairperson of the electoral commission Mrs Jean Mensah.
According to the application filed by the legal team of the petitioner to inspect the documents of the Electoral Commission didn't go as they wanted. After their explanation and everything, the motion was dismissed.
Prior to the end of the proceedings, Tsatsu Tsikata brought up another motion of having another witness which he pursued clarification for to be in camera. The Judges came back from the chamber and postponed the proceedings to Friday.
Edudzi Tamakloe who is the spokesperson for the petitioner has dropped another tough message to all the followers of NDC and Ghanaians should expect on Friday. In an interview revealed, the legal team led by Tsatsu Tsikata is fully prepared with all the evidence to prove the court on Friday and it will be like rapture to Ghanaians when they end the proceedings on Friday. According to him, this is good news on all the followers of NDC.
