Reverend Kwaku Antwi Agyei also called Reverend Obofour has advised the Ghanaian youth to let hard work be part of them and they can be rich like him and honorable Kennedy Agyapong. He brought this advice because of recent incidents that happened at Kasoa when two young boys killed a fellow for money rituals.
Reverend Obofour recorded a video of himself telling the youth not to rush to engage in bad activities all in the name of making money. He also said even though he is a pastor he works hard that is why he is one of the richest people in Ghana.
“If I don’t work hard or even if I inherited wealth and you don’t work, you can loose everything. You can not just wake up one day and decide to be rich, it can never be possible” Reverend Obofour added
He further stated that even though he lives lavish life with his wife and family if he didn’t work hard to make his money he would be in prison by now.
“Even the president today (referring to Nana Addo) how many times did he contest primaries, flaggbearer, campaign and contested for election. How many days did he wait to be sworn in to be a president” Reverend Obofour cited all these examples to tell the youth that they need to be patient in life.
He said all the rich people we see today worked hard sometime ago and they are enjoying today so the youth should not put unnecessary pressure on themselves to make money.
