The managing editor for insight news paper, Kwesi Pratt Jnr has reacted to the approval of 2022 budget by parliament and causes massive stir. Kwesi Pratt Jnr has told NPP MPs that what they doing in parliament is very dangerous Ghana's democracy.
The veteran Journalist speaking on Metro TV good morning Ghana hosted by Randy Abbey stated that parliament is supposed to keep their integrity high and make sure they hear the crying of the people who are watching them day in day out in the country.
According to him, parliament of Ghana is representing the people of Ghana and the character and behaviour demonstrated by them within four days have indicated that they are there for their selfish interest instead of serving the good people of the country.
He told the majority MPs in Parliament that what they are doing is dangerous to parliament because they know the laws in the constitution and the number of people required to take decision, and vote in Parliament but they deliberately broke the law and do whatever will pleased their government but they should remember that Ghanaians are watching them.
He questioned that what budget was approved yesterday? According to him, government did not changed anything in the rejected budget and there is no news about things that have been revised in the rejected budget. Kwesi Pratt Jnr told the general public that he is worried about things that are are happening in the august house of parliament and how parliament is losing it's respect before the people of Ghana. He totally disagree with the budget approved yesterday by majority without minority.
