The Kumasi Tafo-Pankrono Constituency Secretary for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Mr Osei-Tutu Wilberforce, has alleged that the opposition National Democratic Congress has nothing positive to offer Ghanaians if opportunity is once again given to them to rule the country.
And therefore urged Ghanaians to treat with contempt, the opposition Ndc's political campaign that allegedly tend to be deceptive to the advantage of the members of the party.
Speaking to a section of the media today in response to what he termed as " dirty political campaign " from the Ndc camp to deceive the electorates, the Tafo Pankronu Npp Secretary made it clear to Ghanaians to understand that it is not only Ghana which is facing economic challenges as Ndc is portraying for Ghanaians to believe.
He said the issue of economic hardship is taking place at the global level citing fuel, currency fluctuations among other challenges that have been giving world leaders a sleepless nights to solve the problems.
According to Secretary Osei-Tutu Wilberforce, the opposition is allegedly clinging on to character smearing in an attempt to divert the attention of Ghanaians from the laudable achievements of the Akufo-Addo government.
Mr Osei Tutu Wilberforce observed that the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and for that matter its supporters have no campaign messages to Ghanaians expect what they can say but could not justify themselves until they lose elections in 2024.
The politician added that, the NPP is determined to break the ‘8’ and call on the party activists to remain united to make the dream comes true
Mr Osei Tutu said, NPP deserves to stay in power beyond 2024 to consolidate the gains of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo’s administration and as the signs of breaking the '8' are clearly seen on a drawing board, it is up to members to work hard to realize the agenda.
