Ghana did not hear good news this weekend as the vice president, Dr Alhaji Mahamudu Bawumia has disclosed that another sad news have hits him and his boss, President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, and the entire New Patriotic Party folks and shared the message on social media with Ghanaians today, Sunday, 30th May, 2021 after attending a funeral service.
Dr Bawumia announces that he joined a lot of prominent people in the New Patriotic Party to have a befitting farewell for Dr. Kwame Amoako Tuffour who until his was a presidential advisor and also a member of the National Council of Elders of the NPP Party.
According to Dr Bawumia, Dr Kwame Amoako Tuffour was a very good man who contributed to Ghana's democracy and can not be underestimated because of his contribution towards the development of Ghana.
"I joined President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, Chief of Staff Hon. Frema Osei Opare, National Chairman Hon.Freddie Blay, General Secretary John Boadu and other NPP stalwarts to bid a befitting farewell for Dr. Kwame Amoako Tuffour who until his death was a Presidential Advisor and member of the National Council of Elders of the New Patriotic Party.
Dr. Amoako Tuffour's contribution to the sustenance and growth of Ghana's democratic development cannot be under-estimated. May his soul rest in peace" Dr Bawumia said on his facebook wall.
