Access Bank(multinational commercial bank), Africa's largest bank by customer base, has 36 million customers at over 600 branches in Nigeria, The Gambia, Kenya, Rwanda, Sierra Leone, Zambia, United States, Kenya, Mozambique, Burundi, South Africa, Congo and Ghana.

Its total assets are worth $20 billion, Amazing huh.

Access Bank bought off

Marina Bank, Capital Bank (Nigeria), 2005

2008: Omnifinance Bank, Banque Privée du Congo, Bancor SA (Rwanda)

2011: Intercontinental Bank (Nigeria)

2018: Diamond Bank (Nigeria)

2020: Kenya's Transnational Bank

2021: Cavmont Bank (Zambia), Grobank (South Africa).

Access Bank is set to operate in Algeria, Angola, Egypt, Ethiopia, Côte d I'voire and Namibia.

Access bank is owned by a Nigerian man, Herbert Wigwe.

We are looking forward to which bank would be able to put Access Bank at his back and as you know it's not going to be easy.

Access bank is about 32 years old.
