Vetting of Ministers Begins Next Week on 10th February, 2021

Parliament vetting committee will from next week 10th February, 2021 will start the vetting process to approve President Nana Akufo Addo's ministerial appointees for his 2nd Term in office. This also include Regional Ministers.

The schedule which Parliament released will last one month, from 10th February to 9th March, 2021.

The committee will start its work with Kwaku Agyemang Minister designate for Ministry of Health, according to the Minority Leader Haruna Iddrisu is to enable him get to work and tackle the rising cases of covid-19. He will be followed by the Minister for National Security, Kan Dapaah.

Ghanaians will will look forward to 16th February, 2021 when Ken Ofori Atta Minister Designate for Finance will take his turn to be vetted. The Minority MP's will want some answers from him to questions they raised in Parliament, in the President's first term. The Agyapa Deal comes to mind. Ursula Owusu-Ekuful, Minister Designate for Communication will also be vetted on the same day.

The committee will end with Mr Richard Obeng, Minister Designate for Western North Region on 9th of March, 2021
