Ghana population is almost over 30 million people, according to worldometer, it has been predicted to be over 34 million people in 5 years' time, which means an addition of 3 million people.
I hope the Ghanaian leaders are ready for this kind of growth, the only thing that needs to be done is to provide avenues for businesses to thrive in the country and also develop the unskilled youths so that they can employ themselves because an idle man is the devil's workshop and there should also know that the youths are responsible for the growth of a nation.
The recent actions of the government during this Coronavirus period have been commendable but as any Oliver Twist would say, we want more, that is why I'm here to talk about reasons why the government needs to pay unemployed youths the sum of Ghc1,500 every week.
It is really difficult for most families to provide for themselves during this pandemic, that is why the government needs to assist them by paying them this money weekly so that it can assist them to take care of their families during this pandemic.
My fellow youths also know how to learn how to save so that we can make out something of it. This is an opportunity to increase the standard of living for all youths which would also improve the standard of living of most families.
