Flashback: A-Plus Boldly ‘Exposes’ Akufo-Addo And Bawumia Over Fuel Prices In Ghana; Ghanaians React

The recent circulating news that has got most Ghanaians talking is a recent post by the popularly known Ghanaian politician, Kwame A-Plus over unexpected rise in fuel prices in Ghana.

Not long ago, the incumbent President, Nana Akufo Addo promised Ghanaians that, the price of fuel in the country will be reduced hence fulfilling its promise to Ghanaians but recent news depicts otherwise considering the unexpected rise in fuel prices in Ghana.

With respect to this, Kwame A-Plus took the privilege to expose the incumbent President, Nana Akufo Addo and his Vice, Dr Mahmoud Bawumia during when the NPP were in opposition over fuel prices in Ghana.

During a social media post, Nana Akufo Addo emphatically stated in 2016 that, “I have seen how drivers both private and commercial struggle to pay for the high prices of fuel and insurance premiums”.

The Vice President, Dr Mahmoud Bawumia also emphatically stated in 2015 that, “I feel really sad this morning for the ordinary Ghanaian, the hardworking people who have to endure the insensitive decision to increase fuel prices at this time”.

However, there has been an unexpected increment in the prices of fuel since the administration of the incumbent government as the current price of fuel is no longer Ghs 6.58 but rather Ghs 6.80.

Upon Kwame A-Plus post finally popped up, most Ghanaians took the privilege to share their immense thoughts and opinions on the incumbent President, Nana Akufo Addo and Dr Bawumia’s opinions on fuel prices during when they were in opposition.

Below is a look at some of the comments that cane through as individuals shared their respective thoughts and opinions on the alarming issue.

From the above comments, we can clearly notice that most individuals were disappointed in the incumbent government consider their promises which most Ghanaians claim haven’t been fulfilled in terms of the unexpected rise in fuel prices in the country.
