Articulate and Controversial member of Parliament for the South Dayi constituency in the Volta Region, Honorable Rockson Nelson Dafeamekpor, has reacted to the attempt by the Chief of Staff and Ghana Armed Forces to remove the four military personnel who have been attached to the Speaker of Parliament all in the name of following the right procedures.
Honorable Dafeamekpor stated unequivocally that the claim by the GAF that the military personnels were not properly assigned to the Speaker, was a lie.
"It is a fat lie that these security men were not regularly assigned to Speaker.",he wrote on Twitter.
He later sent a precautionary message to the ruling New Patriotic Party government and the Ghana Armed Forces whiles stating his observations about the executive. He explained that the executive might not like the present Speaker of Parliament. That notwithstanding, the government must be very careful of the precedent they set.
