Check Out Sam George’s Brilliant Reply When Asked Why He Has Many Bad Roads In His Constituency

Sam George is currently one of the men of the moment. He has been at the forefront of a bill before Parliament that seeks to criminalize acts of LGBTQ+. Despite the overwhelming support for the bill by majority of Ghanaians, there is also a small number of people who feel that the bill will seek to abuse the rights of certain people. They group feels that LGBTQ issues are trivial and not deserving of a bill.

Well, Parliament resumes today and many will be looking to see what will happen regarding the LGBT bill. On One On One, Sam George sat with Bridget Otoo to discuss certain pertinent issues. Regarding LGBT, Sam George explained that the bill was not to spread hate and that what people did in private was not important to him. he however insisted that people cannot bring out their pervert lifestyle and influence others.

He called on President Akufo-Addo to be bold and speak to the bill as many Ghanaians are looking up to him. Bridget then queried George as to why his constituency has bad roads and why Sam was not focused on improving these roads. According to Sam George he is worried about the bad roads especially in a year of roads. He however indicated that the bad roads cut across almost every constituency. He teased Bridget that probably the only place without such bad roads is Kyebi, which happens to be President Akufo-Addo’s hometown. He called on the government to do better to fix the bad roads in the country.

He added that he himself as a member of Parliament has done a lot for the betterment of roads in the area and he believes with more funding great things are ahead. On his relationship with E. T Mensa, Sam George said they are cool and have allowed the past to slide.
