One Dominic Oppong Adjei is under scrutiny at the Commission for Human Rights and Administrative Justice (CHRAJ) after he was spotted gifting the twin sons of Afia Schwarzenegger $10,000 each while they celebrated their birthday recently in Accra.
Civil Society Organizations and the security services are questioning how he got $20,000 to display at a colorful birthday party Afia Schwar organized and invited him to grace the occasion.
According to sources, Mr. Dominic did not just attend the invite but was found throwing cash and donating such an amount of money at the ceremony and as a result, it has raised eyebrows with lots of questions flying in the air and directed at him to ascertain how he is able to get his money.
According to GHPage and Ghanaweb, one member of the opposotion National Democratic Congress, Mr. Eric Agyei, has written to the appropriate bodies that he resides in Sunyani in the Bono Region has invoked the Article 218 of the 1992 and he is demanding answers for a thorough investigation to be conducted into the matter.
Sources say, he, together with other CSOs have taken it upon themselves to dig into the matter and allow the man to be investigated to unravel how he got such an amount of money to display.
He has therefore written a document and addressed it to the Economic and Organized Crime Office (EOCO), and the Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP) to see to this developing story.
