The UTAG association with its leader , Professor Solomon Nunoo warns the NPP government over conditionalities that would be a disadvantage to its members.
On a two page script submitted to the NPP government, the UTAG points out to provide technical Back stopping support if this turof seeking the IMF would be used professionally and effectively . On due note, their alternative would have been to make use of local experts to support the development of a comprehensive programme that will form the basis of all engagements with the IMF”.
Meanwhile ,hundreds of Ghanaians were in uproar on the streets and on social media following the news of government’s decision to seek assistance from the IMF.


We would not tolerate any IMF conditionality that negatively affects the existing agreement's between Government and the UTAG to improve the conditions of Service to our Members - UTAG boldly writes.
