New Patriotic Party Member of Parliament for Assin Central Hon Kennedy Agyapong has sent strong notice to Hopeson Adorye who was NPP Candidate for Kpone Katamanso Constituency in the 2020 general election.
Kennedy Agyapong speaking in an interview with Kingdom FM on phone revealed that he is not happy with how some of the members openly throw their support for others. It will affect the party looking at the economic position for now the most important issues should be attended to before talking about the campaign.
Though he is not against anyone who wants to contest for the flagbearership position but those who wish to support them shouldn't openly campaign for their favorites until the internal election for the candidate who will lead the party is done. He also sent a strong message to Hopeson Adorye to stop openly campaigning for Alan Kyerematen because it will not bring peace to the party.
He has experienced it before so when he speaks about it. He understood the consequences it may have on the party after the one you strongly supported was not able to win.
