North Tongu Member of Parliament (MP) Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa has criticized President Nana Akufo-Addo as out of touch with reality as he does not see the need for a change in the executive branch.

Ablakwa said President Akufo-Addo "clearly lives in a world of his own."
The president said most of his ministers have been wonderful and meet expectations.
“Does Chief Akufo-Addo really live in reality, or is he living in a bubble?
Abalakwa cited the situation in Malawi, where its president, Lazarus Shakwera, has completely dismissed his government over corruption concerns.
Ablawka said the president only insulted Ghanaians by "going to his constituency [Agyemang Manu] to publicly defend the corrupt health minister".
The deputy added: "This is a situation that calls for the president to act like the Malawian president and dismiss his entire government and form a new team with new ideas because we are in a crisis."
