A former Deputy Information Minister and currently the Member of Parliament for Tamale Central Constituency Ibrahim Murtala Mohammed has disclosed that Ghanaians don't need Archimedes to rise from his tomb to come them that President Akufo Addo has failed the fight against Galamsey.
He made this statement in an attempt to label President Akufo Addo as a failure when it comes to the fight against Galamsey in Ghana on Metro TV's 'Good Morning Ghana' program.
According to him, President Akufo Addo shouldn't come and pretend to Ghanaians that he is fighting galamsey because we are not children. If he wants Ghanaians to believe him that he is fighting galamsey, then Charles Bissue shouldn't be in office.
"If you want to assess whether this government has failed legendary against the fight against Galamsey, you won't need Archimedes to rise from his tomb to tell you that he has failed.
Everybody knows that the water bodies have been destroyed more than ever under his leadership." - he stated
He added that there were Galamsey operators in Tarkwa who said they financed his 2016 election campaign. Therefore, Akufo Addo is a disaster when it comes to fighting galamsey in Ghana.
