The same "deception syndrome" that Mahama experienced in 2016 is present in Akufo-Addo - Akpaloo

According to Percival Kofi Akpaloo, the founder and leader of the Liberal People's Party (LPG), President Nana Akufo-Addo is constantly given incorrect information about his performance by his advisers and other appointees.

Speaking on Tuesday's Anapa Bfo Morning Show on Angel FM/TV, Mr. Akpaloo expressed his opinion that the President's handlers are neglecting to inform him of the truth on the ground so that he can understand the suffering of Ghanaians.

He claims that President Akufo-Addo has the same dishonesty disease that John Mahama had throughout his 2012–2016 administration of Ghana.

When the President is on tour, he claims that some of the First Gentleman's handlers usually arrive and make sure the grounds are ready before the President arrives.

"People who are aware that certain tasks should have been finished almost two years before his arrival move in and finish those roads so that the President will believe everything is OK when he arrives."

"They purposefully take the president on a paved road and show him beautiful areas to make him believe everything is well...

John Mahama experienced the same treatment. During his repeated trips to the regions, he was either flown or forced to use good roads, he claimed.

He said, "These actions and inactions of the President's managers have led the President to believe that all is well with the governed, but this is not the case."

Because Ghanaians are dissatisfied with his performance, he, therefore, beckoned the first gentleman of the realm to sit up and tidy up his estate.

People would tell you straight up that they are fed up with the NPP and NDC, and some have even vowed not to vote again, he continued. "I have experienced it first hand after going down to persuade people to join our political party...," he said.
