Captain Smart has made an assuring statement to the general public that he, together with some group of people, are prepared, and working to see a new Ghana actively working. Speaking on Onua TV this Wednesday morning, Captain bemoaned the crop of political leaders we have in the country at the moment. In his words, these political leaders are not ready to put Ghana in the right deserved path but are working for themselves alone.
This was fueled by an interview with the presidential candidate of the United Front Party, Akwasi Addai Odike. In the exclusive interview, Odike shared the story of how business has been bad in recent times. Coupled with this, he alleged that people in government have been taking people's businesses away from them. Citing Kofi Adda, the MP for Navrongo, Odike alleged that he had once taken his business from him and that which was supposed to benefit the whole country was never realized.
Upon the discussion that ensued between the panelists, Captain Smart said that "there is a new Ghana on the way. In this Ghana, we will see a lot of vibrant young people in government who will think properly for the nation. And we will sponsor anyone who is ready to run for independent candidate in 2024 at the constituencies. We will help you to unseat your members of parliament", Captain Smart concluded.
