Nana Akufo-Addo as part of him touring the Central Region of Ghana, granted an interview with Eagle FM. And in the interview he was questioned on whether he would love to bring back the conversation of MMDCE's elections, considering how things went this year.
The President of the Republic of Ghana, Nana Akufo-Addo said why not. It will be great and it will give the opportunity to people to make their own choices. Electoral commission will do the counting and at the end of the day, they will announce who won to them and that will be the end of the matter.
The President says, what he can add is that the NPP have not changed their minds on the matter. There will not for one time change their minds about the necessity for political parties position of candidates to office of local government.
The minute we have a clear indication from our political competitors, especially the National Democratic Congress the NDC, That they too are in support of this, I will bring the matter back before for public disclose. It is not dead for me at all. I will bring the matter back if the NDC will support me on this." Says the President of the Republic of Ghana Nana Akufo-Addo on Eagle FM.
