Another reshuffle for 4 government officials finally approved. See specifics.

The president, Nana Akuffo Addo, has repeatedly been urged by NDC officials and the public to change some of his appointees, but Akuffo-Addo has resisted doing so passionately in light of their stellar performance.

Apparently, it appears that the Inspector General of Police, Dr. George Akuffo Dampare, has made some changes to his team, according to a daily guide network article.

Dr. Akuffo Dampare has removed the Accra Regional Police Commander, Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCOP) Iddi Seidu from the National Patrols Department to deputise Commissioner of Police (COP) Paul Manly Awini.

The Accra Regional Commander is replaced by DCOP Dr. Sayibu Gariba, Upper East Regional Commander.

Superintendent Atullub Karimu, head of the Anti-Land Guard Unit at the Police Headquarters, and DCOP Antwi Tabi, commander of the Central Region, have each been transferred to new roles overseeing operations in the Western Region and the Legal Unit of the CID, respectively.
