The member of parliament for Assin Central in the Central region, has rendered an apology on behalf of the people Ghana and military to the Chiefs and people of Wa following the meting out of violence on some civilians by some military personnel in the town.
The soldiers, who are said to have passed out of training not too long ago have since been sanctioned by the military.
A committee of enquiry which was headed by the embattled parliamentarian who faces the possibility of being invited by the privileges committee of parliament over certain outbursts of his, visited Wa and met with the traditional leaders to render apology over the unprofessional attitude of the soldiers.
