We Will Have A Hung Parliament - NDC MP Unknownly Reveals That NDC Has No Majority

Honorable Muntaka Mohammed, the member of parliament for the Asawasi constituency has unknowingly revealed that the party has 137 seats in parliament same as 137 for that NPP. He made these comments on PMExpress on Accras JoyNews TV.

The issue of who has won what and how many have finally been revealed by the MP unknown. He was submitting to the political show when he agreed that there would be a hung parliament that is, the NDC will have 137 and the NPP will have the same with one independent candidate.According to him, the independent candidate cannot change the parliament. This means that no matter the group he joins in parliament ha can not be added to any of the caucuses in the parliament. He can't help let a party form a majority except in voting and doing business, he can also decide to forfeit his seat and call for bye-elections. This is to say he can only sit with the NPP but will not give the NPP the majority.

”It is funny when I hear people say the independent candidate has agreed to join us so we have the majority, we have 138. The member you add him to the number there will be bye-elections. Just read article 97. He can't. Those who are given the window for the alliance are parties. Supposing PNC at their national executive level agree that because of this we want to strike an alliance with NPP so our members can join the NPP.” he explained.

"The Constitution is very clear. I'm waiting to see the test of his letter. He can only join the cuacuses in their business but can't count himself as part of them. In this 8th Parliament, there will be no majority and no minority. Because all 137 and 137” he added
