My team and I are keeping an eye on the IGP, and we plan to present him with an award - Dr. UN

Kwame Fordjour, also known as Dr. UN, is a self-proclaimed United Nations Global Ambassador. On Friday, August 28, 2020, he held the 7th Global Leadership Service to Humanity Awards, which he calls the "7th Global Leadership Service to Humanity Awards."

The winners came from all walks of life, including entertainers, politicians, and business leaders, among others. 'Dr' Fordjour presented plaques with the words "UN Kofi Annan Excellence Awards" engraved on them at the awards ceremony, in an attempt to establish a link between the scheme, the UN, and the late Kofi Annan.

He gained popularity, however, after it was revealed that his award was bogus and that he had no ties to the United Nations (UN) or Kofi Annan. Dr. UN presented plaques to Sarkodie, D Black, Nathaniel Attoh, Berla Mundi, Natalie Fort, Apostle Kwadwo Safo Kantanka, the Vice-Chancellor of the University of Ghana, Chairman Wontumi, and other well-known figures.

Dr. UN, on the other hand, has stated that the present Inspector General of Police, Dr. Akuffo Dampare, must be the next recipient of his distinguished Global Leadership Service to Humanity Awards.

Dr. UN disclosed that his term is now monitoring the activities of the current IGP in an interview with Abeiku Santana on Okay FM's Ekwansodwodwo, and that he could be the next to get an award from his organization very soon.

The COPDr. Dampare was named interim IGP by the president on August 1, 2021, to replace James Oppong-Boanuh, who was set to retire.

He is the country's 23rd IGP and the country's youngest since independence. Prior to his appointment, COP Dr Dampare was the director general in charge of the police service's administration.
