Border Closure: 80 Persons Suspected To Be Togolese Arrested For Illegal Entry Into Ghana, Details

Bono East Police command has arrested 80  persons Who are suspected to be Togo national for allegedly Entering through the borders of Ghana by illegal means. 


We all know that the government has closed or bodies to ensure the reduction of the spread of the coronavirus pandemic disease so no one is to pass through these bodies which have been closed. 


A total of 64 foreign Nationals were intersected in the month of February Even the dough Ghana borders have been closed as part of the measures to prevent the covid-19 or let's say contain the committee 19 disease in Ghana.


Bono East Reginal Commander Disclose this to the media. And this is what he said

“ We the Bono East Police command and the Ghana immigration service, We have more teeth that Some group of people or let's take it like some group of agents have been bringing foreigners from other countries by an approved means”


According to him, he believes that most of these people who have are in Techiman or the areas of Techiman,  so We have Mount surveillance and to ensure a proper check of the people who have been moving around that areas. According to him, they have arrested 9 people are from which year on February and ever since then they have been patrolling the area is very well.


According to him, he was very surprised when they were able to arrest 8o0 persons from Togo Who took the wrong to have or let's say an appropriate way to enter the borders of Ghana.


According to him they caught the Middleman who is involved in bringing these foreigners in Ghana,  though he tried to bribe his officers with Thousand Ghana sleep they are officers being so smart  didn't collect the money but bring him to the police station.
