The Country Is Too Divided-Shatta Wale Expresses Worry

Reggae Dancehall “King”, Charles Nii Armagh Mensah popularly known as Shatta Wale has spread words of inspiration to all Ghanaians.

One thing that has been noticed about Shatta Wale since he was bailed from prison is his calmness, less controversy and appears to spread nationalistic messages with the least opportunity.

The “Ghetto Youth President” as he is affectionately also referred to has always been an inspiration to the “street”.

With his latest post, he was not specific with the issues he sought to address but made a clarion call on all Ghanaians to come together for the good of the country.

Taking to his Facebook page, he wrote; “ I think this country is too divided and I believe if we come together as one people, we can do much better than we have.

This goes to every citizen of this country. Let’s learn to love”.

This call comes after the 2022 budget statement was read by the Minister of Finance, Ken Ofori-Atta amidst boos and disagreements from the minority side of the house.

It is appropriate to mention that it is not a political call but a National on the citizenry to live and work in love and in unity for the betterment of the country.

Do you think Shatta Wale’s posture these days would favor him in his case pending in the court?

I think it would. Leave a comment.
